FAQ

Questions, Answered.

Everything people ask us about the blend, the heat, the shipping, and what to do with the last spoonful in the pouch.

  • What does suya spice taste like?+

Nutty and smoky first, then a slow building warmth from dried chilies with ginger and garlic behind it. It is savory rather than sweet, and it toasts beautifully over direct heat.

  • How hot is CK Suya Spice?+

Medium — about 3 out of 5. Most people can eat it straight off a skewer. Add fresh chili if you want it hotter without adding more salt.

  • Does it contain peanuts or allergens?+

Yes. Roasted peanuts are a core ingredient, so the blend is not suitable for anyone with a peanut allergy. It is gluten free and contains no MSG.

  • Is there MSG or any anti-caking agent?+

No MSG, no fillers, no anti-caking agents. Because of that the blend can clump slightly in humid kitchens — just shake the pouch before use.

  • What can I use it on besides beef?+

Chicken, lamb, goat, fish, shrimp, tofu, roasted vegetables, popcorn, fries, eggs, and peanut dipping sauces. Start with a lighter hand on delicate proteins.

  • How should I store it?+

Reseal the pouch and keep it in a cool, dark cupboard away from the stove. Sealed, it holds full flavor for about 18 months.

  • How fast do you ship?+

Orders placed before 2pm ET ship the same business day from the USA. Standard delivery is 3–5 business days, with express options at checkout.

  • What is your return policy?+

If a pouch arrives damaged or you are not happy with the blend, contact us within 30 days and we will replace it or refund you in full.
